In the first three weeks, you’ll join 31Svn owner Seoul, and begin to understand music, and breakin’ technique, gaining a foundation that you are able to build your own unique style upon. You will learn fundamental movements to advanced combinations, and build both performance, battle, and cypher rounds to help you learn how to express yourself through your own individual style.

The following three weeks you’ll get a taste of “poppin” with Nimbus: Popping is a Funk style dance that allows you to express your creative side through hits, isolations, tuts, waves and more. This fundamentals class teaches you the mechanics needed to understand the movements, and the ideas behind combinations and putting these multiple styles together.

This workshop requires practice, patience,and repetition to master your handstand. In the first coming week, you’ll work through important drills, practicing techniques, and shoulder and wrist strengthening and mobility. Following the introduction, there will be about 4-5 weeks of handstand progressions that require you to incorporate the information learned in the earlier weeks and not only show up to class, but practice 3-5 times a week. At the end of the course, you’ll learn the proper ways to get down from a handstand. After 6 weeks, you’ll be able to perform a handstand comfortably, safer, and more efficiently!

By the end of the workshop, you will have a solid base for your teasers, understand and incorporate fluid transitions, and you will be able to flow smoothly through the classical Pilates sequence.

You will experience movement in multiple planes and walk away from the workshop with increased body awareness. With a dedicated practice, participants will see improvements in coordination, power, flexibility, strength and mobility while having fun! This “workout” quickly becomes play.

Animal Flow is a ground-based, body weight movement practice made up of 6 components:

  1. Wrist mobilities
  2. Muscle Activations
  3. Form Specific Stretches
  4. Traveling Forms
  5. Switches and Transitions
  6. Flows

This type of movement has been compared to a combination of gymnastics, yoga and breakdance.
